Cease to See is a six-piece band from the Milwaukee area that blends metalcore, death metal, and alternative rock with a dual vocal approach. They were founded in April of 2025 by guitarists Akio Lam and AJ Grefsheim. Vocalists Brody Schenk and Kevin Carter, bassist Caleb Nischke, and drummer Brad Miller were recruited over the following months and played their first show on June 19th, 2026 at the Bremen Cafe alongside Nordik Battle (Milwaukee) and Heed the Warning (Minneapolis). The band focuses heavily on groove while maintaining a sense of complexity instilled by the members’ classical training and varied influences like Opeth, Chevelle, and Killswitch Engage. Cease to See is currently writing their first release and is looking to channel their passion through the energy of their live performances.
